Due to restrictions on events for the fall 2020 semester, the Student Leader Orientation will not be taking place in person. Details on a virtual event will be sent to student organizations in September.
Each fall, the OSILD offers a comprehensive Student Leader Orientaiton for all new and continuing campus student leaders. This orientation will focus on training student leaders to successfully work with their organizations and with each other.
The Student Leader Orientation will feature different workshop blocks that allow students to structure their own orientation, as well as a dinner. Workshops include EPT, budget training, advertising and publicity, fundraising, and member retention, as well as workshops focused specifically on learning your e-board position. There will also be sessions focusing on advanced student leader topics.
All students who are active members of campus organizations are invited to attend. If your organization sends three e-board members, you will receive a pass to use for on STARS requirement!
